Add Dimension to your Designs with Mon´et® from YLI®
Mon´et Embroidery Thread is an extra fluffy thread that gives a new matte look and a "3rd dimension" to your embroidery projects. Blended from 40% wool and 60% acrylic, Mon´et is very durable and because of its unique softness. Mon´et runs smoother than most machine embroidery threads. With 25 colors available you can embelllish any design.
Tips on working with Mon´et.
Needles: Schmetz 110 Top Stitch Needle
Stabilizer: CutAway recommended.
Bobbin Thread: YLI Basting/Bobbin thread or Polyester.
Needle Threader: Will help you thread this slightly heavier thread.
Fabrics: Fleece, Cotton, Sweater Knits, Polyester Blends all work well.
Hoop Technique: CutAway should be hooped in with the fabric.
Tensions: The top tension should be loose enough to allow the thread to flow, but not jump from the cone. We recommend either a Thread Pro® or a cone holder.
